The British software company Sage Group has announced a 10% increase in profit before tax for the first half, while the turnover dovrbbe grow 13% over the same period ‘previous year. The result was achieved despite a significant reduction in revenues from new licenses over the first half of 2000. The company said they had difficulties in the markets of France, Germany and the United States, but the encouraging signs shown in the second quarter results bode well for the entire 2001.
